KYD’s Quick Guide to Whitefish, MT
Whitefish, MT is a charming town with lots of great food and shopping. If you’re just stopping by in the RV, you might find a spot by the train station. We don’t know if this is “allowed”, but it worked great for us and there were a couple of other RVs there.
Also, if you’re meeting family that are arriving by plane, don’t confuse Kalispell Airport (private and small) with Glacier Park International Airport! Even though the final destination is “Kalispell”, the airport is Glacier Park.
We’d go back to Whitefish just for the food! There is a good ice cream shop there too!

We just returned from a trip to Glacier NP. We stayed in Columbia Falls, but would go into Whitefish for dinner. We loved the Buffalo Cafe. The food was fantastic and service was excellent. We wish we had time to visit other restaurants, but ended up at the Buffalo Cafe for 3 nights just to try other items on the menu!

We lived in Whitefish for a year! It’s so beautiful there. If you ever make it back, Ciao Mambo is the BEST Italian food ever!!! The Lake Restaurant on the golf coarse has the best prime rib. Tupelo is delicious- elk sliders are the best!

Hi Tricia. On your travel day just before leaving, on the table with the laptops was a black and white planner (?) with a white elastic band around it. I was wondering how you keep everything together.!!! There it was!! What planner/organizational tool are you using? Looked very cute.

Sorry for the off-topic question…but do you have or can you provide a playlist of the songs you choose for your videos. I just love them!

I’ve been watching your vlog for awhile but this episode was the first time I noticed the weather app you used. Could you share what app that is? Thanks!

We just purchased our first travel trailer. You are my first and favorite RV blog to follow!
Glendive is where I live. Makoshika State Park is basically my backyard. Too bad you didn’t get to enjoy some of the beautiful trails. Maybe next time! The visitors center has a nice little dinosaur display. Montana has a dinosaur trail that highlights museums with dinosaurs.
