From their website: Because of our passion for sustainability and self-sufficiency, we are combining the historic technology of sailing with the newest developments in electrical propulsion. We have removed the old diesel engine from our sailboat and are installing an all electric system to make our journey around the world possible without the need of any petroleum, auxiliary engine or generator.
