My husband has Parkinson’s So any help in making decisions and any suggestions really helps.. We are headed out next week in our new truck camper. We usually get to the end of our driveway and decide at that moment which direction to go.
We really enjoy your show and we have taken a lot away from it. So keep traveling and stay safe.
Fun fact we have gone from truck camper to trailer to fifth wheel to truck camper (because we now can pull the fishing boat).

Great tips, as always. And so timely for us! We’re headed on a clockwise loop through the Four Corners area from SLC in early July. We had planned to stay a couple of nights at Black Canyon of the Gunnison, but I think it’ll work better to stay at Ridgway State Park and do day trips to Black Canyon and Ouray.

My rig is similar to yours. 31 foot Airstream Classic 2016 Ram 2500 Cummins TBD. I am curious about how you level with only one Andersen leveler. I have always used two but one would be easier.
We love Ouray. We’ve been going to SW Colorado since the 70’s. We have to say you missed what we think is the greatest adventure. Jeep rental! A day in the mountains outside Ouray and over to Silverton is spectacular!!
We just got our travel trailer (2020 Rockwood Mini Lite) last summer and have loved every minute of it! We’re headed up to Durango from Texas in a few weeks and want to make a trip to Ouray. We’re trying to decide if we want make the trip to Ouray just a day trip or try to get camping reservations and spend a few days there. How would you rate the Million Dollar Highway from Durango to Ouray? Should we risk it as fairly new RV’ers or should we just plan on a day trip in the truck and leave the RV in Durango? We love your videos and blog and your family has truly been an inspiration to ours. Thank you!
Love it! And we’re excited to see what you think of Estes Park! We have a cabin about 15 minutes east in the Big Thompson Canyon. If you haven’t left the area yet drive thru the Big Thompson – the narrows are amazing!
Big rig RVs. We LOVE Co! I was stationed and retired out of Ft Carson in Colorado Springs. We want to go back and visit but we aren’t sure about our 45’ toy hauler. Did you see any tight spots or low bridges/ tunnels?
I am so glad that I saw your video of Ouray, CO as this is the place that we chose to take a week vacation this July and by the luck of the RV Travel Gods, some one canceled their reservations and I was able to swoop in and reserve their spot. Thank you for your video!
We visited Ouray, for the first time, last year. We LOVED that area, and will be going there again next year..only hauling our new travel trailer this time! We stayed in Ridgeway last year and the Gnar tacos are some of the BEST tacos we’ve ever had!
My wife and I watched this episode when it first came, 4 weeks later we decided to plan a trip to CO. She insisted we go to Ouray because of how wonderful you made it look. We leave Monday morning and we can’t wait!
The Gnar was so, so good. Thanks for the recommendation. I had the Pub Fresca and Avo. Both were excellent. My husband had the Belly Up and Bulgogi Steak. Wasn’t sure if he would like this type of food but he said it was the best tacos he ever had. Thank you
