KYD Book Club
It’s not what the book costs. It’s what it will cost you if you don’t read it. ~Jim Rohn.
What would you do if I invited you to lunch with Jim Rohn? Would you go? How about Tony Robbins, Steve Jobs or Bill Gates? How about anyone you look up to who has already succeeded on the path you’re walking? I’m sure you would accept the invitation. I’m even willing to bet you’d bring a notebook and pen just to be sure you didn’t miss a piece of wisdom that could change your life.
Now let me ask you a tough question. All of these people wrote books. Have you read them? When successful people write a book to become part of their legacy, do you think they left out any key details? I doubt it. Most authors, especially great leaders, share it all. They want you to share in their successes and make a difference in the world based on what they have learned.
Why isn’t reading a book held in the same regard as joining an author for lunch or flying across the county to hear him or her speak?
The books we read today will have the greatest impact on what we’re able to accomplish tomorrow. There is no time to spare. A single book can prompt an idea and change everything in one night. If you knew a book could change everything, wouldn’t you want to find that book as soon as possible?
KYD has collected a series of books that can make that needle in the haystack much easier to find. Join us as we recommend and review life-changing books designed to help you live your best year ever!
What is the KYD Book Club?
Every month the “KYD Drop” will recommend time tested or trending books that will give you inspiration or tools to help you work toward accomplishing your dreams. Each book recommendation will have a corresponding blog post with some of the key ideas. In the comments of the post, we’ll discuss the ideas and insights to get the most out of each book.
How to Get Started?
KYD has a partnership with Audible (our preferred method of “reading”) so KYD Subscribers get a free book when becoming an Audible member.
We joined several years ago and have read countless books as a result. Click the image or this link to create your Audible account and read along with us!
How to Participate?
Each book will have it’s own blog post sharing the premise of the book and key lessons learned. The best way to participate is through the comments of the blog post.
