More About Self-Directed IRA’s
The truth: There is no such thing as a Self-Directed IRA.
It is a marketing term used to differentiate this type of Individual Retirement Account from the typical IRA you would be offered at a brokerage firm. An IRA, is an IRA, is an IRA.
- All have tax advantages.
- All are tools to assist you in saving for retirement.
- The main difference is that a truly self-directed retirement plan will not limit your investment choices to the stock market.
